NEW SUIT ORDERED
This is long awaited news, but finally a new suit has been ordered from Tennessee. It is anticipated that it should be finished during February 2006 to be debuted either towards the end of that month or the beginning of the following month. If things work out well another suit should be ordered not long after the arrival of this one for summer 2006. We know the source of this new one is a reputable one and it is hoped to establish a good working relationship with the suit maker for the future.
THE END OF AN ERA
It is with regret that we learn of the changes at the White Swan in Yeadon. Simon has looked after us during the last year following the departure of the previous landlord Gus (one of the first people to give The Idle Elvis a chance in the very early days). We have always received a good reception at the White Swan over the last four years or so, and would like to express appreciation to all the people who have made it a pleasure to perform there. Unfortunately the new landlord has no plans to continue the live music at the pub and it looks like this is the end of an era with regard to this particular pub. As Yeadon has been such a good place for us we will be investigating other possibilities in the area.

A NEW ARRIVAL
13th October 2004
The Alabama suit has already arrived as planned. Just a couple of additions required to complete it but it may possibly be debuted at the White Swan.
NEW SUITS
22nd September 2004
Due to some unscrupulous person the two new suits which have been on order for some time do not look like they will now be materialising. The seller ceased all communications with us a few weeks ago so we now have someone investigating the situation and they will try to either obtain the suits, or a refund. On the bright side we have located another suit in America which should be winging it's way from Alabama as we speak. This may not arrive in time for The Unit show, but will almost certainly be here in time for the White Swan towards the end of October.
FOR THE RECORD
22nd September 2004
The Idle Elvis has a new toy, a mini digital recording machine. At the moment he is at the "reading the manual" stage. It may take some time to master, but who knows, there may be some recordings yet (expect this to take around three or four years looking at the instructions in the manual). Don't hold your breath!
